How to cancel iCloud+
You can cancel iCloud+ online in about two minutes at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

Short answer: go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions, sign in, and follow the steps below.
Step by step
- On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → iCloud+
- Choose a lower tier, or 'Cancel Subscription'
- Confirm
What they don't tell you
- Downgrading below your stored data means Apple stops syncing new data and deletes it after 30 days. Export photos first.
- Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid month.
If you subscribed through Apple
iCloud+ cannot cancel a subscription that Apple bills. On your iPhone open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose iCloud+, then Cancel Subscription. Check your receipt: if it came from Apple, that is your route.
